Singapore, November 2, 2023 – The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (“SCCA”) is delighted to announce the much-anticipated Singapore Corporate Counsel's Annual Black-Tie Gala Dinner and 7th Chief Legal Officer (CLO) Awards, an event that honours outstanding legal professionals for their exemplary contributions to the legal field and celebrates the legal community's achievements. This year's event also marks SCCA’s 21st Anniversary and the unveiling of SCCA's signature activities for 2024, featuring an exciting vision for the organization's future.
Scheduled for the evening of November 2nd, 2023, at the prestigious Raffles Hotel Singapore, the gala dinner promises to be a spectacular gathering of legal luminaries, corporate counsel, industry leaders, and distinguished guests. The event will be attended by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Edwin Tong, SC, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law, who will deliver his keynote speech.
In keeping with the SCCA's mission to evolve and grow, the gala dinner will highlight the organization's initiatives and plans, including new educational programs, collaborative opportunities, and resources for its members and the broader legal community.
One such initiative is the SCCA Academy as it plays a pivotal role in providing professional development and educational resources to in-house legal practitioners. As part of SCCA's plan for 2024, the academy is poised to expand its offerings and further empower legal professionals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills.
